Tapwow Introduces TapVision, AI Powered Reporting for DIRX2 and the Supply Chain
Greenwood Village, CO. 4/2/2024 10:00 AM MDT – Tapwow, a leading provider of software for IoT and smart packaging, is excited to introduce TapVision, a comprehensive reporting infrastructure powered by OpenAI for the DIRX2 IoT platform and associated supply chain systems like EPCIS 2.0, ERP and more. With this new technology, even non-technical system users will be able to use natural language queries to interpret the contents of their IoT environment.
Tapwow’s DIRX2 cloud-based IoT platform brings out the best in NFC technology and QR codes to allow brands and partners to achieve their authentication, customer engagement, product diversion and reuse/recycle goals. The self-service platform makes it easy for even non-technical users to add markers to the system, assign content even after tags are in market and batch markers by region, SKU, product family and more. The platform features world class analytics that allow customers to get the most of their IoT interaction data.
With the creation of TapVision powered by OpenAI, Tapwow has opened a window not on simply the IoT data within DIRX2, but on the interaction of these serialized products with the rest of the enterprise including EPCIS 2.0, ERP, CRM and more. This comprehensive approach will allow any user to query the system using natural language and analyze performance of your supply chain and effectiveness of consumer engagement, brand protection and reuse/recycle efforts.
“AI integration has been on our radar for a few years now, but we were waiting to get the DIRX2 platform established as the hub of serialized products in the enterprise. With our recent 3.0 release with enhanced integration with EPCIS 2.0, we believed this was the moment to introduce TapVision where the technology was going to add real value for our customers,” said Michael Sher, CEO of Tapwow.
Adds Jeffrey McDowell, Tapwow Co-Founder, ”We have always said that DIRX2 was all about the data and that includes NFC tags, QR codes, sensors, enterprise systems, EPCIS 2.0, and more. Whether authentication, engagement, product diversion or traceability, our customers want to measure effectiveness and determine ROI for projects. We have been committed to a no-code/low-code approach to our solution, and Tapvision puts real computing and interpretation power in the hands of any DIRX2 user.”
Tapvision is currently in its Beta release as part of the base platform of DIRX2. Customers are using the functionality today in production environments in North America and we expect to include the complete functionality in our next release later in 2024.
Tapwow’s unique, open cloud-based platform provides any brand or partner the ability to get the most of their IoT applications.
