Tapwow Offers Native Software Support for Next Generation ICs from Silicon Craft
Greenwood Village, CO. 12/5/2023 10:00 AM MST – Tapwow, a leading provider of software for IoT and smart packaging, is excited to announce native support within their DIRX2 cloud IoT platform for the exciting new SIC43S1 and SIC43NT ICs from Silicon Craft Technology. Combining the powerful new encryption and tamper technologies from Silicon Craft Technology with Tapwow’s no code, cloud platform makes it easy for customers and partners to bring these innovative ICs to market quickly and easily.
Tapwow’s DIRX2 cloud-based platform brings out the best in NFC technology to allow brands and partners to achieve their authentication, customer engagement, product diversion and reuse/recycle goals. The self-service platform makes it easy for even non-technical users to add markers to the system, assign content even after tags are in market and batch markers by region, SKU, product family and more. The platform features world class analytics that allow customers to get the most of their IoT interaction data.
For the new SIC43S1 IC with AES-128 based security and the SIC43NT IC with RF/Tampering Detection from Silicon Craft Technology, Tapwow utilized their native tag attributes and agent interface technologies to allow customers to get the most from the encryption and tamper technology built into the IC. In the no-code DIRX2 environment, customers and partners can manage and provision these tags as well as activate powerful authentication features with a few clicks in the cloud platform. The DIRX2 platform also offers support for the entire collection of ICs from Silicon Craft Technologies that are compatible with NFC Forum Tag Type 2.
“We built DIRX2 knowing that innovative technology companies like Silicon Craft Technologies were going to be constantly evolving and creating exciting new products like these ICs. Our architecture allows us to easily integrate the new features and let Silicon Craft IC customers like tag makers, label makers and packagers get to market quickly with the latest in NFC features combined with our powerful IoT software solutions,” said Michael Sher, CEO of Tapwow.
“The SIC43S1 and SIC43NT represent a bold step forward and feature innovative new security measures that our customers needed. The DIRX2 platform from Tapwow allows the tags to be easily deployed and implemented and make the most of the unique attributes these tags offer for encryption and tamper detection,” added Shan Sharma, Principal Business Development at Silicon Craft Technology.
